Style Guide: Looks That Will Have You Sparkle & Shine This NYE

The fashion moment women all over the world have been waiting for is finally upon us... New Year's Eve. The glitz, the glamour, the confetti! I love any occasion where it is acceptable to be in head-to-toe sequins, but this year I am trying to be a bit more creative with my NYE look.

Whether you will be spending the countdown out on the town, at a cozy dinner, or curled up inside with loved ones, you deserve to wear an outfit that sparkles and shines. Here are several sequin-free looks that are sure to make you stand out this celebratory weekend.

A POP OF COLOR

For those of you who aren't a fan of sparkle, a pop of color is sure to help you stand out in only the best way! My most recent color obsession (burgundy) is a fabulous color to wear to ring in the new year. It is the perfect shade for winter without being too bright or flashy. Jessie's whole look is perfect for NYE!

SEDUCTIVE IN NUDE

There are few things more seductive than an all nude look, and NYE is definitely an appropriate night for seduction. My tip: wear your new dress with gold jewelry. It will look much better than silver against the tone of the dress. Jenna's twist on a nude dress is the perfect way to wear this hue when the clock strikes midnight. Just add a few inches to her heels and you are ready to go!

THE LBD

There are so many occasions that are perfect for a little black dress, and NYE is at the top of the list. Don't have time (or post holiday energy) to go shopping for a New Years Eve look? Just pull out your favorite LBD and you are good to go. I adore Alex's chic black dress. The faux cutouts are so alluring!!

SHINY METALLICS

For those of you who love sparkle but are looking for something a little different from sequins this NYE, I recommend metallics. They will give you the same shine while keeping with an edgy, IT-girl vibe. Jane's pleated skirt is everything! I may have found my NYE look. ;)
