Those of you who know me best, know that I almost always, always where some form of black. Whether its a classic black pant to serve as the base for a funky top, or head-to-toe black when I'm working to really let my bags pop, I just can't seem to get away from it. But if there was ever a color (or non-color) to stand a chance against my favorite go-to, it is the one quite literally at the opposite end of the spectrum: bright white!
And while you'll see me wearing white year-round (I never was one to follow fashion rules), here are a few ways I particularly enjoy wearing white during the warmer months...
LAYERED WHITE
If you happened to be in Atlanta this week, you understand exactly why layering up is the way to go during the spring months. With temperatures rising and dropping at a moment's notice, you can't go wrong with a long cardigan layered over a classic white tee. Adam Lippes Pima cotton classic can be worn with everything from jeans to skirts, and when paired with a wide-brim panama hat, you will fashionably tackle the rays with ease.

STRIPED WHITE
You know I couldn't stay away from black for too long ;) and there's not much better than when these two colors collide. Keep it light with small stripes on your top paired with your favorite white skinny jeans. This jersey top by T by Alexander Wang does double duty by working as a great layering piece as well!

DRESSED UP WHITE
You can never go wrong with a crisp, white button-down, but why give up the opportunity to satisfy your craving for a little drama with an updated version of this classic. Jacquemes adds an artistic touch to an otherwise monotonous piece, and this cotton mini dress can be adjusted to suit your level of confidence. Accessorize with a pop of color, and you will be a showstopper all summer long!
