After a work week filled with client meetings and networking events, my off-duty attire must be as comfortable as possible. And while I love laying around the house in yoga pants, at some point it is necessary to put on some real pants ;)
Flat booties, turtleneck sweaters, and ponchos are just a few pieces I love to wear on days when a pair of stilettos aren’t required. Here are several ways to style these items so that you can stay comfy and chic this fall.
THE PONCHO
I will admit - I was a late adopter to the poncho trend, but now that I have conformed I am SO glad that I did. My favorites are those with fun colors and patterns because I find that solid ponchos can make you look a little boxy. I love the way Jenna has hers casually draped over her long sleeve T and jeans. This is a great way to add a chic element to your look!

THE LEATHER JACKET
While a leather jacket may seem like a more formal cover up, it is one of my favorite pieces to throw on with a casual look. I am notorious for wearing mine over gym clothes on my Saturday Starbucks trip!

THE TURTLENECK
Turtleneck sweaters are a recent obsession of mine. I even wore one on a recent date night! There is something sensual about being literally covered up from the neck down. Plus, they keep you extra warm on those unexpected chilly nights.
Courtney has paired hers with a short skirt and over-the-knee boots... I am officially obsessed!!

Is it even possible to say the word cozy without thinking of a cardigan?! I admit - I have way too many cardigans in my closet, but I honestly wear them all. Jesse's is super cute paired over a short skirt, and I love the uniqueness of her style with fringe all over the front and back!
