Whenever a camera comes out, I am always conscious if the person behind the lens is snapping me at a bad angle. And I am not afraid to give anyone a quick lesson on how to hold their camera up and angled down for the most flattering of pics. The lengths I (and I'm sure people everywhere) go to make sure we look good in every picture is absurd, which is why I decided there must be a better way. This week I am dishing 4 style tips I use, so that you no longer have to untag yourself!
MIDI SKIRTS
The midi skirt is not only one of the most feminine pieces, but it is also magical in that it will fit and flatter just about any body type. It hides those extra summer vacay pounds, and gives an extra dose of femininity to the wearer. I always feel as though my look has been instantly elevated whenever I put on a midi skirt. Caitlin's sweet midi is perfect for hot summer days, and gives your legs added coverage.

ALL-BLACK OUTFITS
Given the number of posts I have written on this monochromatic look, all black is clearly everything to me! In pictures, black is known to be slimming, it gives elegance and sophistication, it allows you to build your look on a single block of color and it creates a fabulous lengthening effect. I mean what's not to love about black. One of my favorite ways to wear this shade is through layers. Lisa's jumpsuit is perfect for work or a night out on the town.

FLATTERING BLAZERS
I find my office look to be one of the most difficult to style, but a fitted blazer is one piece I always take with me. It offers an attractive, structured presence in photos, and accentuates your figure while highlighting your feminine waist. Wear a structured blazer with long romantic dresses or a pantsuit and you'll be ready for any photo! Courtney's fun look is perfect for a summer afternoon transition from work to play.

FLARED PANTS
If you find yourself getting frustrated trying to squeeze into your skinny jeans, try swapping them for a pair of flared jeans. I've covered the benefits of flare jeans before, but these really do help you look great in pictures! They elongate your body, emphasize your curves (in a good way) and properly cover your hips. It is (in my opinion) the only silhouette of jeans that really flatters any body. Jane's pants are perfect for a casual look, and I love her trendy, off-the-shoulder top!
