As I’m sure you’ve realized by now, an all-black look is my go-to for just about every occasion. But I've recently been working on adding some pops of color into my outfits, and this fall I am loving deep gorgeous blues and soft burgundy hues. I find that they can add a little life into what otherwise might become a monotonous and gloomy season.
Reminiscent of one of my favorite drinks for this time of year, Burgundy is especially a favorite so here are several ways you will see me implementing this hue into my winter wardrobe.
BURGUNDY JACKET
A burgundy jacket is an excellent alternative to classic black. Work it as a neutral, and a fabulous piece of outerwear can really seal the deal on your look. Jane's burgundy leather jacket is giving me major glam inspo! My tip: If you don't yet feel comfortable adding this color to your outfit, try a burgundy lip instead.

BURGUNDY SKIRT
A simple burgundy skirt can easily be worn to the office with a black blazer and blouse. As an added perk this color will easily transition with you from the office to cocktails. Jesse's skirt is beyond fabulous, but I would suggest super opaque hose or a smaller slit for the office.

COZY UP WITH BURGUNDY
Burgundy also proves to be a great way to bring color and life into you more casual looks. Nicole's sweater makes me want to curl up with a good book and a strong cup of coffee.

Burgundy truly is a versatile and beautiful color to wear. It not only looks great on just about every skin tone, but it will also help elevate any look. Plus, it’s the same color as a nice glass of wine, so what’s not to love?! ;)
