Separates always have been and always will be a wardrobe must. Not only can you create a ton of new looks simply by swapping out different tops and bottoms, but when done correctly you can also get away with wearing the same pants to the office twice in one workweek!
To help cut down on the time it takes to get dressed in the morning while increasing your style factor, here are the 4 tops I suggest you get in your closet now. They will revolutionize your wardrobe this season and bring you a plethora of new outfit combinations.
DELICATE TRANSPARENCIES
Sheer tops really emphasize your feminity and I love that they show just a little bit of skin! While (obviously) perfect for warm weather, sheer tops can also be incorporated into your cooler season attire. Wear yours with a nude bra and leggings for a muted yet chic look, or take a style cue from Cathy and boldly show off your lace lingerie.

FEMININE LACE
Speaking of lace...pretty tops with lace details will always, I repeat, always be a thing. You can pair them with just about anything from shorts or skirts in the summer to leather or jeans in the winter. Jessie's outfit is so great for the upcoming season change, and her shoes are equally on point!

MASCULINE INFLUENCES
By masculine influences, I'm not necessarily referencing the classic, boyfriend button down. Silk and chiffon blouses can have a masculine air to them as well. My favorite way to wear a loose, comfy dress shirt is by unbuttoning it a little and allowing a slight amount of cleavage to show.
Match these blouses with a pencil skirt for the office, or with jeans for a casual, yet sophisticated look. And you can never go wrong accessorizing with a statement necklace. Rima's top is so chic paired with these booties and jeans!

FASHIONABLE RUFFLES
Ruffles have had a slow burning comeback, but I think a few, well-selected ruffled tops should be in every girl's closet. A simple, elegant version can be the statement piece to any outfit, so be sure to invest in one that can be worn with multiple pants and skirts.
Christina gives us a sophisticated way to wear ruffles, and this top could easily be paired with black pants or even leather leggings!
