If you’re keen to get involved with marigold but you’re a little unsure whether it’s the color for you, simply avoid wearing it on your top half, e.g. keep it away from your face. Why? Because this has the risk of making you look a little pale and drawn, so keep it on your bottom half instead. Black and marigold is probably the most common combination you’ll see, and it’s a seriously powerful one too. But, you shouldn’t stop there because marigold ‘goes’ with plenty of other colors too! Check out combinations with burgundy, brown, perhaps turquoise, or even dark green – it’s something which you may think shouldn't work, but it definitely does! If you go for blue, remember that a darker shade will complement the marigold much better than a lighter one.
