I believe that certain pieces of clothing are like a fine wine (and George Clooney) in that they only get better with time. While the passing of seasons can be detrimental to certain trends (ahem denim vests) it can be invaluable for others. I do have to say that no matter the style, most bargain pieces will not age well. While I'm not sure how practical that rule may be, I do know that a good pair of blue jeans will never go out of style.
