One of my new favorite, and eco-friendly ways to get around town is bicycling. No, you did not misread that! I enjoy bicycling around beach towns, my neighborhood, to our local coffee shop and even to run some light errands. Biking has so many perks including the fresh air, a little extra cardio, and lowering your carbon footprint just to name a few. But what to wear, you ask, when riding light? Here are 4 outfits that are perfect for a summer bike ride...
COMFORTABLE & OVERSIZED
For those of you who prefer a relaxed, more tomboyish style, this will be a piece of cake, because my favorite look to bike in is a comfy pair of denim shorts and an oversized button down. Biking can (sometimes) be tricky, so wear a cute pair of flats, sandals or sneakers. To avoid the hassle of figuring out what to do with a purse, bring an easy cross-body bag instead. My go-to bike outfit is inspired by this casual look Lauren has put together below.

GIRLY & PRACTICAL
If you are biking to work or while on a date and want a less casual look, a maxi-skirt is a MUST. I still recommend staying away from heels and wedges, but a cute mule is a nice way to add some height to your shoe without having to worry about impracticality. For a fun, outdoorsy touch, try a messy bun or stylish braids! Kristin's leather jacket is a great addition for when temperature's drop at night.

PRINTED SHORTS
Printed shorts are one of my most recent summer wardrobe additions. They come in the comfiest fabrics, and who doesn't love a good pattern! My tip: pair printed shorts with a solid top or jacket so as to keep from looking too busy. Alex can easily convert this style to work attire by changing into pants or a skirt, and I love the way she styles her Mel Boteri Watson tote!

ROMPERS & JUMP SUITS
As far as biking fashion don'ts: skinny jeans, short skirts, and curve hugging dresses. Rompers and jumpsuits, on the other hand, are great options as they are always comfy and you don't have to worry about any wardrobe mishaps. Stephanie's romper is soooo cute for summer and it goes fabulously with our Serenity Blue Watson tote!
