Style Guide: How To Nail The Nude Look

Last year's white is this year's nude. And while I typically avoid wearing this color unless I'm about 10 shades tanner, the lovely ladies below show us exactly how women of any shade can rock a nude look!!

Nude pieces can be easily worn at the office, for a day out with girls, or pretty much for any event filling up your social calendar. My current fave is to wear this color in a sexy sheer dress with some sky high heels!! Read on for more details...

OFFICE NUDE

Nude can seem a difficult color to wear, but it really is as easy as wearing black (I know it sounds crazy)!! The most important factors to take into account when choosing a cream or beige-colored dress is your figure and body type. Although this color does nothing in comparison to black to hide imperfections, a nude dress is a highly refined and classy option to bring some change into your work wardrobe.

Complete your outfit with a pair of studded stilettos for some added sex appeal ;) Nicholl's dress is definitely one I'll be adding to my closet asap!

CASUAL NUDE

One of the great things about this color is that is can be worn year-round. During the winter, add black tights under your nude dress. They will add a nice contrast to the dress and make your legs look nice and lean.

Pleated nude dresses of all lengths are super trendy right now. You can combine them with flat shoes, like sneakers and sandals, but also with high heels and platforms. I love just about everything in Jane's look, but the accessories steal the show!!

SPECIAL EVENT NUDE

As mentioned earlier, nude and beige-toned dresses are prefect for special events. My favorite part about this color is how sexy it can be.

There are so many ways to dress up nude hues, that sometimes I have trouble deciding which to choose. Sheer, lace, structured... the list goes on.  Alicia suggests wearing vintage nude for a wedding, and we couldn't agree more!

BRIDAL NUDE

Speaking of bridal, the tradition of multiple dresses for bridesmaids has taken a hold on modern weddings. The most common colors for dresses are the obvious pastel hues of pink and blue. If you're a new bride beginning to plan your wedding, think about putting your maids in pretty nude dresses. This color is super easy for the mix and match theme!
